Julian DeFelice Tuck Stocking

 

Julian R. DeFelice

Multi-Instrumentalist and Songwriter

Julian is a musician, producer, actor and playwright from Moretown, VT. He has written and produced over twenty-five albums, and three plays. Recently, his rock opera The Renegade Opera was produced and performed at Castleton State College, held as a charity benefit for the Elton John Aids Foundation. He specializes in musical instruction, recording, and sound design, playing piano, guitar, bass, drums, banjo, mandolin, and several other instruments. Julian has had his music played on several Vermont radio stations, including WNUV, WIUV, and 99.9 The Buzz’s Homebrew Show. Holding a BA in Theatre Arts, Julian has also held theatre workshops, received three nominations in the American College Theatre Festival, and worked in community and professional theatre settings.

Julian teaches all days except Wednesdays.

 

John Hussey

Drum Instructor

Jon Hussey is a professional drum set performer and educator who has studied with such prominent teachers as Joe Porcaro, Joe LaBarbera, and Ed Soph.  He earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies from the University of North Texas, where he attended on a drum set scholarship.
He has toured the country and played with bands of many different musical styles, including rock, blues, jazz, country, and funk/r&b.  Currently he is the drummer for Joey Leone’s Chop Shop, a full time band based in Vermont that plays all over the northeast.  As a teacher, Jon has taught every age, level, and style on the drum set and percussion.  He is endorsed by Vic Firth drumsticks as a drum set educator.

Jon teaches on Wednesdays.
